Dylan Rooney
Cybersecurity Professional, Python Developer, and Relentless Troubleshooter
Hi, I'm Dylan Rooney. I made this website to introduce myself and provide an alternative to the traditional resume format. I have had a life-long interest in technology, and in late 2019, decided to start working towards a career in IT.
Since then, I've earned a Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity and nine certifications, penetration tested hundreds of virtual machines, and have worked on many projects for commercial, recreational, and practical purposes. For 2.5 years I worked as a Technology Operations Analyst at a large financial institution, handling tickets that involved software troubleshooting, security concerns, cloud technologies, Active Directory, and much, much more.
Please feel free to scroll down to take a look at some of my favorite projects, as well as my IT certifications and relevant education. If you have any inquiries, use the contact form below, and I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as possible. I'm currently looking for a full-time job at company where I can work with a great team and continue to advance my career.
